Understand employee health
risks so you can respond
appropriately and effectively.
On-Site Biometric Screening
Biometric testing is an integral part of identifying
and assessing employee health risks. Quantifying
health risks provides a road map for prevention
strategies.
Most health risk assessment programs rely only
on self reported laboratory data to create an
employee health risk profile. Self reported health
data is often inaccurate and can lead to faulty risk
assessments and misdirected action plans for
employees. This argument is supported by the fact
that an alarming number of persons with medical
disease are undiagnosed. In fact, nearly 50% of
persons with high cholesterol, 40% of persons with
adult onset diabetes, and 30% of persons with
hypertension are undiagnosed.
InHouse Physicians addresses this issue by
offering cost effective, biometric screening that can
be performed as part of the health risk assessment.
We avoid the pitfalls of self reported data, create a
much more accurate health assessment of your
employees, and design more effective action plans
to positively modify employee health risks and control
associated employer healthcare costs.

Specific Tests - InHouse Physicians biometric testing offers
your employees access to clinical tests that evaluates a person’s
risk for the most common medical conditions. These

and cancer. The specific tests that are available include
blood pressure, fasting blood sugar, fasting lipid panel, HbA1C,
bone density, skin cancer screening, and a variety of cancer
markers. Attendees are provided with a list of recommendations
based on nationally recognized guidelines and have
access to our web-based physician consultation services.
Integration - InHouse Physicians’ employee lab tests can be
shared with your other third party wellness vendors to support
the creation of an accurate health risk assessment.
Physician Consultation – What differentiates InHouse
Physicians from other wellness vendors is our physician-based
model. Our health screenings always include the option of a
physician consultation to answer employee questions and provide
medical recommendations.
Communication with Employee’s Physician - InHouse
Physicians further differentiates itself from other vendors by
fostering meaningful communication between our board certified
physician specialists and the employee’s personal physician.
Our physicians share all of the biometric test results with
the employee’s primary care physician. This action dramatically
increases the likelihood that the results of the testing will lead
to a positive shift in the employee’s quality of medical care,
well being, and health risks. |
