Jonathan Spero
President and Chief Executive Officer
Dr. Jonathan Spero, M.D. Founded InHouse Physicians in 1989 with the strategic goal of promoting the health and wellness of employees around the globe. Dr. Spero graduated medical school from the University of California, Davis and completed his residency in Internal Medicine from Scripps Mercy Hospital in San Diego. Dr. Spero has practiced both internal medicine and emergency medicine and currently spends most of his time managing IHP from its headquarters in St. Charles, IL.
Dr. Spero has served on the HERO Think Tank and is an expert speaker educating employers on wellness strategies that can produce a measurable return on investment. In addition, he is the only board-certified internist/emergency physician on the long time member–ship roles of Meeting Professionals International (MPI).

Renée Collins
Chief Operating Officer
Renée joined InHouse Physicians in 2006 and is IHP’s Chief Operating Officer. Renée oversees the entire operations of both company divisions – Employee Health and Meeting Support services. She is responsible for the day to day operations of company and consistently meeting the needs of InHouse Physicians’ clients and their employees around the globe. Renée brings valuable interpersonal skills in developing employee, client and vendor relationships to promote team–building philosophy to maximize client healthcare solutions in an efficient and cost effective manner. Her enthusiasm, strategic thinking and best practice solutions have created a staff of professionals that strive to enhance the overall health and wellness of the client experience and provide a seamless operation.
Before In-House Physicians, Renée worked for 22 years at Arthur Anderson’s Center in their Professional Education Training Center. She managed a team of staff who handled domestic and international travel, registration, cashier and housing departments, and training and IT requirements throughout the 1300+ guest room training center and off-site training locations.

Roberta Tabac
Director of Flu Division
Roberta brings a unique combination of skills in management, logistics, and organization to IHP. With over 20 years experience in executive level support in fortune 500 companies and healthcare institutions, Roberta is responsible for the management and flawless execution of all IHP flu services around the world. Her responsibilities include scheduling clinics, recruitment of staff, and implementation of the entire corporate flu process. She also is responsible for a number of special projects at IHP and enjoys the variety this brings to her work.

Karen Boyce-Layne
Director, Biometric & Provider Relations
Karen is a Nationally Certified Medical Assistant whose primary responsibility is recruiting and assigning medical staff for corporate medical meetings and biometric screenings. Utilizing a combination of Karen’s management and communications skills, along with her enthusiastic attitude, Karen manages the medical staff for IHP. Prior to working for IHP, Karen studied business management at The University of St. Martin and held positions in a number of junior management roles in the healthcare and automotive industries.
